A new surreallustrator.com? ’bout time.

Lots of work has been done. My vision, almost complete. Some site tweaks remain. And are very busy at the moment with other things steeling my limited time. But when time permits, “coming soon” will be deleted and I’m sure you’ll know when it is fully up and running. It’s like night and day comparing this site design and the new one. This site as is, maybe a 2 if I’m being generous. The new design is a fully buffered 11 — .1111111111… I’ve achieved many solutions to complex initiatives. And made the site a visual experience as if it were its own piece of art, which was the intention. Solving design problems that kept popping up with almost every enhancement proved challenging and 99.999%, well — solved. I wonder if I stretched the structure capabilities built within the new (free) theme templates, farther beyond the original limited expectations, in ways not thought of or realized were possible by the original theme designers. I would like to delve deep within the experiences had while building the new site from a relatively simple theme, sometime in a future post, or maybe a podcast.

For now, between today and the fully finished site design published, I have a survey I populated with reasonable questions on what ideas and functions that shoulda, coulda, didn’t become part of the new design — which might be added to an updated version of the new site I would like to further enhance when possible.

For those who really like surveys… I quite think this one will be enjoyable and most likely, nothing like you’ve experienced before. At leased I had fun writing up this survey, even if I don’t get many bites.
